There are 13 new released songs has been added in the Beatmania 3rd mix. For the modes, it contains: "EXPERT MODE", "DOUBLE PLAY", "HIDDEN PLAY", "MIRROR PLAY" and "RANDOM PLAY".
Similar in it's ideals to Dance Dance Revolution. As the music plays the symbols fall to the bottom of the screen the player must press the corresponding button or move the turntables at the correct time. Also like with it's Dancing counterpart. The depending on the player's timing the screen will flash with anything from prefect to miss, will makes the players energy bar grow or shrink.
