Guitar Freaks 6th Mix is compatible with Konami's "MULTI-SESSION BASE" which allows to be linked up with Drummania 5th Mix for 3 players playing at once!(two on Guitar Freaks 6th Mix, and one on Drummania 5th Mix.)
In Guitar Freaks, the player is given a guitar that contains three keys, a strummer and an effector knob, all of which are color coded to perform combos. The gameplay is the same as most music games - see the bars fall and hit the correct bar. The game generates a random music sequence in time to music, which the player must try to copy in an effort to build a big combo and gain points and bonuses. There are three levels of skill for a player to test his/her rocking ability. |
