Nostalgia is a piano-based rhythm game developed by Konami, featuring a simple piano-style controller located just below the screen. Players must press the corresponding keys in time with notes that fall from the top of the screen—red notes are played with the right hand, blue with the left. Some songs may even require crossing hands for accuracy and effect.
Beyond standard notes, Nostalgia includes three special types:
Tenuto: Long notes that need to be held down, similar to hold notes in other BEMANI games.
Glissando: A slide across multiple adjacent keys.
Trill: A rapid alternation between two side-by-side keys, played in quick succession.
